Hiking ideas / Palm Springs

For some great Palm Springs hiking - take Ramon Road west until it ends. You will find some the best trails start right there! Also, check out Indian Canyons - just beautiful! Check out this page for more information: http://www.palmsprings.com/points/canyon/ In addition, the Santa Rosa & San Jacinto Mountains National Monument Visitor Center offers free guided hikes. For the month of January and February, they take place on Thursdays and Saturdays starting at the visitor center (9am - 11:30am). For more information, visit www.DesertMountains.org or call (760) 862-9984.
