Default Palm Springs weather at the end of September?

I'm trying to set a date for my wedding in Palm Springs next year. I've been offered a great deal from my reception venue if I do it Sept 29th. I know the average high for sept is 101. But what about the end of sept? We want to get married in Joshua Tree Park but don't want our guests to be too uncomfortable. Would it be too much of a gamble?
Thanks!!!

That's a tough one - generally, yes it's most likely going to be hot, but when heading into October, the weather does start to be much more comfortable. I'd ask the venue what they do in the event it is very hot to keep the guests comfortable.
