Question Cimarron Golf Resort

I know through a friend of mine that a few years back Cimarron Golf Resort was a nice place. If you're readng good reviews about it today - then it sounds like it's still a nice place.

Sorry I don't have better info!

Thumbs up Cimarron Golf Resort

Hello jest!

Cimarron Golf Resort was picked as one of Golf Digest's Best Places to Play and they've also won acclaim in the ESPN Zagat Survey and Palm Springs Life. They were also chosen as one of the Top 100 Women-Friendly Places to Play by Golf for by Women magazine.

The resort's course is known as one of the best public golf facilities in the Palm Springs area. And, their full service restaurant (which is great by the way...), On the Rocks, is continually voted "The Best Place to Watch the Sunset" in the Palm Springs area! Have you heard of the private country club, Woodhaven Country Club? (see: http://palmsprings.com/golf/woodhaven.html) Cimarron is owned by the same company.

You said you're going to this resort for a "golf/relaxation week" - we think you've made a great choice! Click on this link for more info: http://palmsprings.com/golf/cimarron.html

We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving in beautiful Palm Springs - Enjoy!

Best wishes,

Jojo

Default Cimarron Near Escena

I played the Escena Course which is very close to Cimarron.

Here is a link that gives an idea of the area:
http://www.golfclub.com/story/escena/index.html

Not a lot of old growth and at times can be windy but it is an open view course with lots of room to play. You really can't go wrong in Palm Springs. Over 100 courses in the valley and with that many courses they all have to be competitive. In the end the golfer always wins.
